About Us
once upon a time…
Grown-ups deserve playtime too.
We're The Fables. We make DIY craft kits for people who always wanted a hobby but never knew where to start. No experience, no fancy tools, no pressure. Just you, a cosy evening and something lovely made with your own hands.
Our story
We wanted to make starting a hobby easy for everyone in India.
The Fables began with a simple question from two friends, Darshan and Naineel: why is it so hard to start something new?
The scroll that never ends
Most evenings, most of us end up doomscrolling. Not because we love it, but because picking up something new feels like too much effort.
Why starting was so hard
Want to try embroidery? First hunt down the right hoop, thread and fabric. Then sift through dozens of videos for one that actually goes step by step. Most people give up before the first stitch.
The feeling worth sharing
Yet anyone who has made something beautiful with their own hands knows the joy and confidence it brings. That feeling is something else, and we wanted far more people to have it.
What we believe
Hobbies aren't a luxury. They're how you come back to yourself.
Never too late
22 or 52, first craft or fifth. Every Fabbler starts somewhere, and somewhere is fine.
Beginners, really
We design every kit for someone who has never held the tool before. If you can follow a video, you can make it.
Slow is the point
Phone down, hands busy, mind quiet. The making is the reward; the coaster is a bonus.
Made in India, with love
Designed, packed and shipped by a small team that answers your WhatsApps personally.
